Kontakt Bug?

I noticed something odd, if I have the edit mode open and kontakt open, instrument works and does its thing. If I have the edit window open and close kontakt, instrument no longer works and I have to reload the instrument itself. Confused why this would be happening as nothing is dependant on kontakt or edit mode being open. I tried this on Straylight and it works both ways, confused why this would be happening for me.

just did some looking and it seems like the listeners just stop working when I do that. Why would that happen?

So I'm working on a sequencer script, and too test I have made a very basic one (which is really all I need). It works fine most of the time, although for some reason the gating is tighter when using to to fire off midi with set_controller and using it to control volume via a CC modulator in the...
