Is there anyone working with Logic's Auto Tempo function?

I think you mean Smart Tempo? It’s brilliant, works great as long as the audio file has strong transients.

All the time. Works well.
I've placed aliases to audio folders elsewhere on my system in my "untagged loops" folder. When played back in the Logic file browser, they're tempo synced. Great way to play with all those NI expansion loops without having to delve into Komplete Kontrol.

Actually, the sampler/quick sampler/drum machine drag'n'drop shortcuts are absolute dynamite, but that's a thread for another day.

Hahaha, I agree, mostly when the music is synced to the visuals.
