Is it possible to speak to moderator's alert ?

Sure. We can speak here, although I thought I was already clear: Post less. Argue less. Which part of that is confusing?

Hello Mike,

I was trying to help !
I am 73, 50 years of experience with DAW and music
I start music on a Z80A board

I did not understand that you suppress the 2nd post about YouTube ! it's a big problem
Youtube should protect from copying.
Because of YouTube you cannot make money on your music !
If you go thru channels like Apple Music you get peanuts on the 1.29 euro asked for a song
I have two other songs that are ready to be put on sale that I did not put to see if I can find a solution to promote my music.
On my web site you can listen but not copy for free my songs. I only loose a few cts for money transfer.

For the post about EW
It was an answer to a post received on NetNewsWire app yesterday or today, I was interested to re-use my Platinum because of the problem I have with VSL.

Do you see often a post like that :
If you live in the Paris (France) area, I can give you my card and the rack for 8 x SSD that I don't use anymore.

Have a good day
Best
Cyril

That's not what the thread is about, though. The thread is about failed negotiations between YouTube and SESAC (a PRO competitor to ASCAP and BMI.) This is a very interesting topic, so we don't want it cluttered by tangential musings.

Here is a paragraph from your post:

"I have now 1.75 TB of VSL's libraries but I have been banned from there forum because I have spoke too much of the different VSL problems and misinformation(to be polite)
It's a pity because I am very happy with all the money I have been spending since many years, nowadays VSL does not accept any remarks on there product, they cannot admit mistakes and do not correct there errors !"

I'm pretty sure I asked you a few weeks ago to stop talking about VSL on the forum? I think I might also have said that if you mention them again, I'll ban you? So now you're thinking it's a good idea to bring more attention to this post?

Luckily for you, I can't remember whether I added that "ban you if you talk about VSL again" part. You're making this really tempting, though. I mean, if VSL banned you (you have to be REALLY annoying to get banned from the VSL forum), and then you kept going on and on in that Atmos LFE thread where you got so confrontational with everyone that you wrote (in all caps) "STOP THIS THREAD PLEASE", and then you started a second Dolby Atmos thread ...

Honestly, I'm looking in a mirror and saying, "Mike, what the fuck are you doing letting this guy stay on the forum???" But alas, for reasons unknown (even to me), that ban-hammer remains in a dusty corner, lonely and unused. So here's what I'm going to insist on:

1. No more mentions of VSL. None. At all. Not even any words that have the letters v, s and l in them. If someone asks for lubricant recommendations (hey, we don't judge) and you want to say "Vaseline," don't do it.

2. Post less. Be aware that with the VSL banning, and with the Atmos LFE fiasco, you're not a guy that people are hoping to hear more from right now. You've earned a lot of "Oh no, not that guy again." So lay low, so people can forget.

If you do post, be especially mindful of whether you're truly on topic. (That YouTube thread being a perfect example where you weren't.)

3. Don't get into arguments with people. Listen more, post less. Granted, there are some bozos who will be wrong about things, but your reputation at the moment is not stellar, so now is not the time to get into debates.

4. Don't call anyone "waifu." (What, too soon?)

I just checked out your site (at least I think it's yours - Plessis Music?) I am able to download tracks from there without paying.
WOW ! this is a bomb.
Did you manage to download the whole song or just the part I give to be listen ?
I have tried with Youtube downloader to check, I did not manage to download the whole song !
What software did you use ?
Do you like my music ? I will change my singer, her English accent is not so good ; the problem is to find one in France !

Hello
OK I got you
"LFE or not LFE" was a very interesting thread, there was contrary advices.
I have post a second thread about my Dolby Atmos's studio to thanks for the information I received and to give my decision.

For : You've earned a lot of "Oh no, not that guy again." ; where do you see that ?
I found a page where a lot of people liked my answer (I have a lot!) but not this one

I did not call anybody "waifu" ; I did not know this word in English, I say once "I am not stupid"

I will keep quite
Best
Cyril

Props for the Vaseline comment. It killed me, like one of the best stand up comedians.
