How to navigate a large template? (Cubase)

Hey All,

I was wondering if theres a way to better navigate a large Cubase template. For example, If I wanted to go to my Perc, it would be amazing if there was a key command or macro that would scroll into view the top of my Perc folder! I've tried messing around with macros but have ultimately failed. This would be an amazing feature if it isnt already possible.

Collapsing the Wavefunction
I put together a Lemur template a few years ago to handle track access through some macros. It's a huge workflow enhancer that I still use every day.

Can you expand on that please? How exactly did you do this?
Basically with AutoHotKey I setup a script (see below)

My macro is
1. control + F (find track quick key)
2. name of folder I want to go to
-I added a "_" in the name to make sure it only went to that
3. Hit enter
4. Sleep 75ms
5. Scroll 2x to get the folder at the top of the window

Had to add the sleep command otherwise scrolling wouldnt work.

Code:
#NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases.
#Warn ; Enable warnings to assist with detecting common errors.

NumpadDot::Suspend

Numpad0::
        Send, ^f
        SendInput, SYNFX_
        Send {Enter}
        Sleep 75
        MouseClick,WheelDown,,,2,0,D,R

return

Numpad1::
        Send, ^f
        SendInput, PERC_
        Send {Enter}
        Sleep 75
        MouseClick,WheelDown,,,2,0,D,R

return

Numpad2::
        Send, ^f
        SendInput, PBH_
        Send {Enter}
        Sleep 75
        MouseClick,WheelDown,,,2,0,D,R

return

Numpad3::
        Send, ^f
        SendInput, GTRS_
        Send {Enter}
        Sleep 75
        MouseClick,WheelDown,,,2,0,D,R

return

Numpad4::
        Send, ^f
        SendInput, STRINGS_
        Send {Enter}
        Sleep 75
        MouseClick,WheelDown,,,2,0,D,R

return

Numpad5::
        Send, ^f
        SendInput, BRASS_
        Send {Enter}
        Sleep 75
        MouseClick,WheelDown,,,2,0,D,R

return

Numpad6::
        Send, ^f
        SendInput, SYNTH_
        Send {Enter}
        Sleep 75
        MouseClick,WheelDown,,,2,0,D,R

Blog post I did on this if it helps:

I create custom controllers if you get really stuck.
Thanks Jeff! I ended up figuring it out, I set up a script inside autohotkey for Windows to do the macro of finding track, typing the name, hitting enter etc, and then am using MIDIKEY2key to receive a Lemur signal and send out the trigger for the script. It's kind of complicated but works!
