kontakt reads 2 kinds of pictures PNG and TGA formats
it don,t support GIF or video playing sequences
so most of the slides i saw before is by by put all the frames
in one frame like a knob or slider photo.
but how to do it automatically not manually frame by frame ?,
because it is a hard job if the frames exceed number of 100 frame as a symbol .
    any ideas??

Use the on listener callback to change the picture state. Or don't waste CPU with an animation in a virtual instrument ;)

I think the question was about some king of spritesheetpacker
But yep, the second time for day: no realtime animation in kontakt)
But it is, generally less mandatory with HISE

Aha I see, there is also the change_picture command in Kontakt so you can have all the images separate and just swap then, I don't know if there will be any lag issues with the animation though as I've never tried it.

generally, it is more expensive, than picture_state. Our experiment with the listener and separate images brung to the breaking of several instruments animations in one Kontakt thanks to the big amount of file IO.

Yep, we worked with huge animations. If we work with big amount of high resolution pictures, then changing separately them in listener is worse than picture state changing. But this way we have to load into the memory huuuge animations entirely. It leads to crazy long patch loading time.

It's still better to use picture states regardless.
