Hello everybody!

TL;DR: Open to work on films and games alike -- key words in bold below.

I just found out about this forum. Earlier this summer I received my Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts, Aesthetics and Narration
(my research on atonal harmony available for free here: http://his.diva-portal.org/smash/record.jsf?pid=diva2:1576156 ).

I've been studying video game development with an orientation in music composition for three years now, but I have been composing, playing, producing and mixing music for 10 years (the interest starting with video games and an acoustic guitar 10 years before that).
Software I'm comfortable with include Ableton Live, FMOD, Wwise, Unity, Gamemaker Studio 2, Audacity, and so on.

Since I was four years old, when I played my first computer game, I've experienced soundtracks with a sense of wonder and awe. As long as I can remember, I've thought the most emotionally evocative experiences come from when storytelling, visuals and the soundtrack (be it orchestrated harmonies or entirely ambient soundscapes) blend and melt perfectly together. And since then, I've been passionate to reach my life's goal; to be able to live off of what I love doing, which is creating and experiencing creation with others.

I enjoy the horror medium, but am open for work on everything from simple platformers to ambitious story-driven projects -- my genres ranging from dark ambient to synthwave to orchestral and everything between.

Earlier projects include creating loopable ambients for Mateusz Skutnik's renowned Submachine games ( https://www.mateuszskutnik.com ). Currently working on my two biggest hobby projects so far, one of them an animation (story, art, music, voices, sfx by me).

My entire digital portfolio available here: https://yombai.github.io/home/

I look forward to virtually meeting directors and developers as passionate as I and creating games and films together!
