Drumkit: stick and brush?

I just saw this. When I was drumming on cruise ships I experimented a ton.
I also experimented with holding different implements in my different hands. Called it "dual wielding" like in video games. Found all sorts of cool ways to play with all of the different combinations of: open hand, stick, brush, mallet, hot rod, monster brush, etc. Lots of awesome colors to be found that way: play a 16th note brush swish in your right hand while playing a conga part in your left with the snares off, that sort of thing. So many fun ways to find interesting sounds to use, especially in various South American/Central American styles.
