Hello, I would like to ask you what your favorite drum machine emulations are. That means emulations that have a historical model. Maybe you know one that I don't know about. I use: Drumazon 2(909), Nepheton 2 (808), Aly James Vprom (Linndrum) + Vsdsx (Simmons), Gforce DMX, Cherry Audio CR-78. I tried the Roland Cloud, but it didn't completely convince me. What do you like to use? Best wishes

I didn't really want to buy anything this month, but I bought the Instrument Bundle now. Revolution is really quite unique.
Thanks for the tip!

Have you tried Syncussion by Aly James?

Greetings
Nice stuff. Seems like WaveAlchemy know what they're doing.
Regarding Syncussion: didn't try it yet.

And if you're into super tight drum samples that nearly sound like drummachines, I just found this one this morning and got it at -50% off:

I have the Cherry CR-78, but also like Forgotten Keys' ROLA-78 for Kontakt. They have some others too:

For quirky/dusty old drum machines i like Rhythmic Robot:

And of course Wave Alchemy's Revolution for their 808, 909, 606, 707 (also CR-78 in here too) etc. and Aly James for VPROM and Claptrap.

I have a real CR-78, which might be why I'm so obsessed with getting the perfect emulation.

I enjoy microtonic as a total recreation of analog drum machines, not sure what its referring to but the engine means you've got 8 sounds, any of which you can tweak into bass drums, hi hats, noise or just something pretty retro.

Sonicouture ElectroAcoustic is a superb, and rather comprehensive, set of sampled drum machines.
It's USP is that there are amped and processed recordings, in the manner of live drums in a recording session, but there are also dry DI options, so you can have them sound as they would out of the box.
For the ones that involve synthesis, they have recorded rr's.

D16 lunchbox, Softube Heartbeat, NE Basimilus Iteritas, beat surfing random & random metal, Visco forever 89

Fors Opal (Ableton)

Wavealchemy & Sonic Couture stuff (sample based)

The links lead to some rarities, thank you! I also use Claptrap, nice tool!
What is it like to work on the real Cr-78? Adam Wiles studio for one night, I wouldn't say no to that:

I've heard good things about it! I also like to use Punch 2 by Rob Papen as a drum synthesizer.

That looks very good indeed.

Vprom by Aly James is interesting.
It uses the original LM-1 ROM, and you can also load ROMs from other famous machines.
