Climate Change Fundraiser - Music Track

Hi all,

Sincerely hoping you're all doing great. I'll cut to the chase.



Firstly of course I'd love your input and reaction to the music itself, and the use of VIs integrated to live instruments.

But there's a fundraising aspect to this piece, too, and I'm posting here as I know it's a friendly community. For those of you keen on the climate, as I am - from my fundraising thread:

Watching Leonardo DiCaprio give this speech always stirred in me the desire to protect our home, the home that Carl Sagan once described as a 'Pale Blue Dot', for that is all it is. It stirred me so much as to set it to music.

Watching it again this year, 8 years later, I am alarmed by how much of Leo's speech it is still relevant.

So I've decided to release the music I wrote as a fundraising single.

The world and its myriad of species, landscapes and beautiful animals deserves better. Help me give it to them.

It was a brilliant move to change in the snare. This happened late in the track I wonder if you could have done that earlier. How did you come up with it? The Idea.

Thanks for your compliment. It's a good question, where do we get ideas... God knows, in this instance. It was so long ago I barely remember my head space now. I was just watching Leo speak and riffing on it. I'm a drummer first, too, which I suppose explains why I wanted to fusion it up with some real drums.
