    Hi,
I wrote this song by imaging Chinese historical drama OSTs or a man doing Tai-Chi on the top of a sacred mountain. :)

It's a short piece but it took a long time to write it because I have learned Harmony and Counterpoint at the same time.

The libraries I used are as follows:

Strings - Cinematic Studio Strings and Cinematic Strings 2
Brass(horn, low brass) - EW Hollywood Brass
Piccolo run - EW Hollywood Woodwinds
    Taiko - EW StormDrum 3
    Gu Zheng - SampleTank 3
    Djembe - SampleTank 3
    Shaker - Sampletank 3
    Reverb - 2cAudio Breeze

Your feedbacks and point-outs are appreciated.
    Hope you enjoy it. :)

Thanks for your listening. :) I don't have other ethnic instrument libraries and the instruments are not the most featured instruments on this song. So I used SampleTank 3. :P

  4. Some quick feedback. First, you need to pull the midi for the legato strings back so they line up to the beat. Right now they're all coming in very late, which is especially problematic with the steady percussion. Also, the SampleTank instruments are right in the center, try panning those out to the left and right to get a more interesting stereo field.

    Hi,
Thank you so much for your feedbacks. :) Rhythm/timing is one of my weak points.
I didn't realize the strings were lagged behind too much until you suggested.
I will try to fix the timing and panning, and then post it again.

I agree composition comes first. There are many things to improve songs quality before buying expensive libraries But if composition is good, high quality libraries make songs much better.
    :P
