Bob Rozario

Craig Sharmat

Those who have reached book 6 will probably remember his name.

This from Dell Hake

I have some sad news for those of you who knew Bob Rozario. Bob passed away this past week in Las Vegas. We met at Kings Castle in Lake Tahoe in 1970. He was playing piano for "happy hour" for the skiers when they came down from the slopes in the afternoon. Of course, that's where the musicians hung out also. I was there working with Bill Medley for a couple weeks. Bob's great jazz "chops" and his mellow demeanor immediately made an impression on me and the other guys in the band. We had a lot of laughs! Over a period of days our conversations lead to Spud Murphy and his Horizontal Composition course. Bob eventually moved to L.A. and started studying with Spud where he excelled. Bob became music director for many TV shows during that period and had a long and respected career in LA and Las Vegas. I send my condolences to his family and many, many friends. I will miss your talent and kindness, Bob.
