    Hello forum.

In your use of a mix of mic position and reverb, do you automate them?
Ex. if in a composition theres is a dense part, do you turn the outrigger mics a bit down and in a more transparent part like an Oboe suppoted by quiet strings, do you turn op the outriggers and reverb for the Oboe?
    Or....?

At the moment I just use a static mix of mics and reverb. I need to change my setup if I will use automation on mic position, so I have audio control of each mic in Logic...

I think its cummon sense to automate close mics to bring out solos/definition

Samples or real? If real, then yes of course to automation of both, as the music and limitations of the recording dictate.

If samples, I'd keep the relative mic balance the same and just ride the reverb as required, unless there was a particularly special circumstance.
