So I'm trying to figure out if there's any way of organizing a large groups of files in a folder based on peak velocity (quietest to loudest, or loudest to quietest).
I know how to split samples based on transients and velocity in Reaper, but I was wondering if there was a way to organize samples which have already been created based on their peak volume? File organizers? An extension/script for Windows File Browser? Anything?
    Thanks!

If you have SWS (you should), there's "SWS: Organize items by peak" action, which you'll want to use. After that, rename your items however you want and render them out. Easy peasy.

You also have Organize items by RMS peak, which should be better for some soundsources (sustained vs percussive).
