Well, I will be able to add tables to notes...
but I still need 4 apps open that one app should be able to accomplish.
I had no idea that the new file system wouldn’t work on fusion drives. Looks like I won’t be bothering to update my iMac then.
I'm pretty sure you can still use the old file formats in HS ?
Yes. You can keep using the current file system. You just won't have the advantages (nor the bugs) of the new one.
I'm waiting for Eastern Sierra.
How "high" can they get?
And it's out, installing it on my other mac.
Here's a helpful compilation on compatibility so far:
Another outstanding opportunity to screw up my system - nothing like day one OS release.
What's the betting a load of people are going to upgrade their machines (for no real urgent reason) and then find one or two of their essential apps or plugs isn't compatible, and then moan about incessantly...
(Ignore me - I've got man flu and I'm feeling a bit grumpy..)
I upgraded both of my Macs to High Sierra. Everything seems to be working.
is there a list about all working or not working daw/sampler/plugins? For high sierra of course.
Thank you! That is what I need
The Sweetwater link two posts above also has a good list. There will invariably be a few things that fall through the cracks hopefully people can report those here last time I believe it was Korg plugins and the Access Virus Editor.
32 Lives wrapper does not recommend you update to High Sierra quite yet. They seem to be on testing and qualifying 32 bit plugins though. Check there forum if you have questions.
I made a test upgrade. Cubase, Kontakt, Omnisphere are smoth as usual
Everything is fine here with HS. PT, LPX, NI, VE, etc. All my VIs and plugins work just fine. Running APFS on all my drives (1 SSD and 3 rotational drives)
Hey guys, is there anybody who tried out all the NI Komplete stuff in terms of High Sierra compatibility?
According to NI support, they are not recommending upgrading to HS, but the info was not updated since 09.25th
Would be glad to finaly upgrade my system but i heavily use NI stuff so im not sure.
Kush UBK-1 plugin is broken in some cases in High Sierra. FYI
Separate names with a comma.
