the 224 for $149?
i am reconsidering my interface - hmmm.
from just now...
My favourite is Ivory II American Concert D, with the reverb replaced by QL Spaces.
It is, my absolute favourite thing.
I'm in the boat for a reverb as well. Been using nothing but built in Reaper reverbs and Waves IR3. I demod Valhalla and really like it.
I'd get the $70 of Seventh Heaven but I see it needs an iLok, and taht's a pain i've heard.
Other ones I've been looking at are Spaces, Lexicon 224, FabFilter R, and a bunch of others from Lexicon (PCM bundle, but wayyy to expensive)
I gotta narrow it down, and now have to see if Spaces 2 is coming out...ugh! lol
It makes a hell lot of a difference. But it is a matter of taste, not quality.
Check out Thomann for a better Lexicon price, its €229. I have Seventh Heaven and it's my main reverb now. I don't have any problems with iLok. Just to make your choice more difficult
I love Seventh Heaven. The others you mentioned are really great as well. Also, fwiw, Spaces (v1 at least) requires an ilok as well.
i still use Breeze 2 as my first in line reverb.
dum de dum.
bought Seventh Heaven last week, and I've already got Spaces. So, whatever it is, I think I'll be alright!
now THAT is VI Control comedy.
"Don't worry, guys. It'll be announced in a couple weeks." - EastWest "Forbidden Planet" 2008
Announced to be released July 23, 2018. http://www.soundsonline.com/spaces-II
It's been delayed. Surprise surprise.
Audio Deluxe has it for sale now. Looks like intro discount $299 USD ($399 full price).
Does anybody have Spaces and Reverberate 2 and care to comment on the two? I'm interested in Spaces II but think it's more than I need right now. Might "collect" it at a later date.
I’m soooo excited
It's for sale but can you actually activate/download? They said on their forums that it was being delayed due to a bug.
Also, any word on upgrades for people who own Spaces 1?
Fair points. I have not purchased nor tried to purchase/download. Just posting for everyone's information.
I would have thought that re-sellers would have been advised (and maybe they were). Perhaps a breakdown in comms somewhere.
I thought so too (though our currency cross rates are abysmal). This new version seems to have expanded the number of "spaces" by quite a lot which would go some way to explaining the price (if I read the description correctly, it indicates 353 new verbs). Compared to Reverberate2 it's very expensive. I will have to wait for a sale if I go for it at all, as said above I don't need a reverb plug right now but I am interested.
