Hello!

I own both Albion One and Spitfire Symphonic Strings.

In Albion One there is a patch called: Strings Low - 8ves - Long

It has this wonderful bite and I love the sound of it. But what does 8ves mean? I can't seem to find a patch in the bass section of Spitfire Symphonic Strings that sounds quite like it.

It means that it is the low string section playing in octaves. You could duplicate this sound by having the cellos play the same line as the basses an octave higher.

That makes sense.

It sounds really nice I liked that in my Albion One. Wondered why I couldnt find it in my SSS :D

I think ZeeCount mean Basses an octave lower ;)

Albion One and SSS sound amazing together!

I tried to work with both but did not like the result so far...epic and chamber did't quite worked for me..how do you use SCS and One together, for layering and divisi?

For me the perfect match to Sable is Loegria, and the reason i still haven't upgraded to SCS
