    Great comparison.

Fun to see that for CH-Solo Violin you used the ram saving "Clean Start" instrument which actually has the true legato turned off by default.
What you hear is only the artificial legato without any transition samples.
Therefore, as you can see, the instrument requires only 8,35 MB with a single articulation loaded.

Also, the Key & X-Fade mode allows you to play the six dynamic layers velocity sensitive,
but CC11 takes over as soon as you touch it, to control the phase aligned x-fade samples.

Good to know Chris. It sounded competitive with just the "Clean Start" patch. Yes, the six dynamic layers are more than any other string library I've seen.

Bill you're the "Robert Parker" of the Sample Libraries, again, a super good test, very useful... I hope you get big "discounts" from the devs, because you really deserve it...

    Hi Chris,
may I ask you how this artificial legato works? Like is it a kind of artificial portamento which you scripted or just a simple crossfade between the sustain samples?
    Thank you very much.

Which EW solo violin? Hopefully the newer Hollywood one and not the old one.
