Earlier tonight I got the idea to load up the same 1st Violins Sustain patch 12 times, and then give each individual patch it's own mix of the 5 microphone positions available in EWHO Diamond.
Then I could test how each unique mix of microphone positions sounded when I played the same little...
I saw in my EastWest Installation Center that there was an update to Hollywood Strings Diamond. Does anybody know where there's a change log? I searched thorugh the EastWest site, their forums and on here but I couldn't figure out what changed
Also, if anyone has noticed what changed...
never posted this track on this forum, it's one of the few "modern" hybrid tracks that I tried to compose. It has a bit of a "the plane just landed"-vibe (as I call it) but I like to listen to it from time to time. Still using HW Strings on this one (that I didn't eq that nicely)...
here is a new piece, heavily inspired by Prokofiev's 5th symphony, which is my favourite at the moment. I had to write something that reminds me of the 4th movement(and some romeo and juliet) because it's too cool.
Still not a very relaxing composition but I hope it's not that...
First track I wrote in 2017. Last couple of weeks where a bit tough so I was in a dark mood when I wrote this. The orginal idea was I would keep it going for another couple of minutes, but I feel things are looking good again so I decided to just finish it :)
This is a little kinda-suite I did while trying to make a "magic"-soundtrack.
It's a bit confusing (again), at least for this topic it might fit...
I hope you will like it:
Hello to all,
This piece has two competing ideas/themes that I thought would be cool for a film, but in a 5 min arrangement didn't work well. I still don't know if it works but I didn't want to spend too much on this piece(because I think I already did).
hope you like it,
Greetings to all,
I tried to compose a symphonic poem using midi. It might have been a weird idea but I think I learned a lot while composing for future works. Feel free just to dive in at some random point, since I do not expect somebody to listen to the whole thing.
Did this about a year ago, don't think I ever shared it here. Fun to listen what my mockups sounded like a year ago, that solo cello though...ugh.
Learned a lot from doing this + it was a lot of fun! Can recommend it to anyone. The piece is called "A Small Measure of Peace" from the original...
This is my attempt to write something "across the stars"-esque.
It was shortened from like 10 minutes, I'm still struggling being more brief and less random with new ideas throwing them all in one bowl. So any advice, especially arrangement-wise, is appreciated.
Hi guys !
Here is my music for piano and orchestra entitled 'World of Life'.
It gives an overview of the capacities of the beautiful Hollywood Strings Diamond vst, and also Cinewinds and Cinebrass. Let me know your impressions.
I hope you'll like it !
Thanks for listening. Anthony
