    Thanks! I mostly made everything here in Absynth. The granular stuff is mainly processing samples through the Aetherizer and the UI stuff is really just a lot of experimentation. There really is no technique for UI sounds other than trial and error, and knowing the synth reasonably well.

To me when I AB'd between the two (which I did a lot) the original sounded a little more mellow, and even more dull in some areas (as you mentioned) which I didn't really like so much.     It's a combination of Shevannai, a patch from Omnisphere 2 and Lacrimosa. The Shevannai and Omnisphere 2 helped with the up front sound.
