Forum changeover this Sunday - Forum will be down for a few hours

The criticism is still somewhat valid though: it takes two clicks on mobile now. And speaking of mobile, the What's New view doesn't show who wrote the latest post, only who wrote the OP, which isn't as useful.

The more libraries you have on the libraries tab -the longer Kontakt takes to load?

Both have the option to show network drives but not removable drives. Kontakt 5 was set to show foreign file formats -- I don't see where this option is in Kontakt 6 -- but disabling it didn't change the load time. All the prefs in Options are identical. In fact, I purged the K5 database so...

The more libraries you have on the libraries tab -the longer Kontakt takes to load?

I suspect this could be the culprit as well. I have about 60 Kontakt libraries, and on my system (AMD 2950X), an empty Kontakt 6 instance opens in about 150ms. (And as I mentioned elsewhere, for whatever reason, Kontakt 5 is much slower at about 1.5s.)

Doh, sorry, I misread -- not on track select. It happens when an articulation is activated, in which case it sends the bank select event and then the program change (or CC if you have elected to represent articulations as CCs to the control surface instead). I'd like to better understand how...

Yes, undo and reaticulate is hopelessly broken. (This thread gives a flavor about why.) I will address this in the next major release (0.4.0). I don't know if I'm going to fix undo entirely or just make it so it doesn't do bizarre things like what you described, but some of the internal...

The easiest way to upgrade FlexRouter (maybe even the only way) is to copy/paste the source code into an existing KSP instance. This will preserve your rules. Admittedly it's a pain in the ass, but I've not discovered a better method with KSPs. I see what you mean (video was very clear...

If you put a ReaControlMIDI instance right after Reaticulate and turn on the MIDI Activity log, when you activate one of those articulations, do you see Reaticulate sending the program change message? Indeed, that does seem to be broken. I attempted a hasty fix -- can you try this version?

    What is Reaper bad at?

It solves a problem for me and apparently several others seem to get on with it. I think it's pretty powerful, but currently it does require a bit of fiddling with a text editor to craft your banks, so a bit of elbow grease may be required. (Questions happily answered over in the Reaticulate...

Also within Kontakt it's possible to route to up to 64 separate patches (Ports A-D and 16 slots per port). Using something like FlexRouter you could keyswitch to all 64 patches even though you're coming from 16 source MIDI channels.
