New from Output, Steven Slate, Sonuscore's The Orchestra, and IK Multimedia

I've been after a solid Morin Khuur library for a long time, and this seems like a decent step in the right direction.

Ok, I've been sorta putting off ever getting The Orchestra because I felt it was redundant for me despite how useful many of the features seem... but the morin khuur ensemble... THAT I need to hear in action.

"Piano One Week" Sale event until January 14th

Piano price controversy aside, the info on the Chinese instruments is pretty paltry. Are there not even any videos demoing how they work? Demos sound good, but it's unclear whether it's phrase-based or playable legato. Can't purchase anything without knowing that.

Strezov Sampling presents AFFLATUS Chapter 1 // 1.2 Update feat. 18GB of new sample content

Crossgrades, huh? Maybe now's a good time to start snagging some more of those Strezov libraries I've had my eye on (BEO and the Next-Gen Choirs especially). Still, the price isn't what I expected, and seems to have thrown most for a bit of a loop.

Strezov Sampling presents AFFLATUS Chapter 1 // 1.2 Update feat. 18GB of new sample content

I've resisted several string libraries since my last big purchase. It was tough, but man... I think this is the library that finally gets to me.

    Eric Whitacre Choir

    No doubt JLA's tastiest work.

    Eric Whitacre Choir

Same. I'm still not sold on whether this is one, when there's other more versatile choirs (with better prices), some of which I already own or am looking to own, and can easily fit the same niche EWC is trying to fill. Specifically, I want to hear how it does with rhythmic textures compared to...

    Eric Whitacre Choir

If anything I'd like something with a lot of potential rhythmic texture (Silka caught my ear for that reason), so would be curious to see somebody give their thoughts on whether this is of better value than Silka/Insolidus specifically.

    Eric Whitacre Choir

It sounds real nice, but trying to determine whether it's worth the $450 on top of my current choir selection: Dominus, Oceania, Olympus, Requiem Light.

I'm digging the solos. They seem a lot more agile than most other similar horn section libraries.

Spitfire - APEX Ending Tonight at 23:59 GMT! One Library - Half Price - For One Day Only.

I figured most mountain ranges would be absolutely chock-full of people guessing across the entire stretch of their respective mountains, so even if you know pretty much exactly where this is, you may be out of luck. Spitfire's also pretty sneaky, there could be some false clues scattered...
