I second the suggestion of more RAM. Also possibly a better motherboard with higher capacity Vrms - X570 Taichi or X570 Aorus pro wifi.

Ryzen 3000 Vs I9 9900K for music production

Whether you wait or not depends entirely on your needs and what you have currently. I am in the market for an upgrade and have the following choices: 1. i9900k - which most say is a very capable CPU. 2. 3700X - extremely worth it if it matches or comes close to the performance of the i9900k...

If you could run DAWBench on the 3700X and share the results, that would be greatly appreciated. When are you expecting the new CPU ?:)

AMD working on a 64/128 Beast for TR4

So does this mean the 3700X is a viable alternative to the i9900k for audio production? Consider a 3700X with an X570 for an upcoming build (instead of the Z390 and i9900k I was considering earlier)....

Ryzen 3000 Vs I9 9900K for music production

Yes most MBs I've seen can handle 128 GB RAM. There are a ton of benchmarks out already. Which of these are relevant to music production?

    Build feedback please

I was actually wondering if it was possible to have a 2.5" SATA SSD as the boot drive and 2 1TB M2 Pcie SSDs for samples. Are there any restrictions on which drive has to be the boot drive? Also, thoughts on swapping cases to for eg., this one - NZXT H500?

Bunker Strings Vol. 2 - what would you like to see?

    Best Harp Library

I agree with you, that the Elysium harp does not sound "orchestral" out of the box, but somehow cannot see the justification in putting up so much money for the Berlin Harp or the Cineharp, when the harp is rarely (if ever) at the forefront of a piece. For roughly half the price of the Berlin...
