    I don't use VE Pro, but latest Metagrid works fine here in Cubase 10.0.20., including MIDI CC commands.

    Worthwhile low - really low - end headphones?

    Absolutely. I've had HD-668 B as a third pair and they sounded better to me than Sony 7506 which are an industry standard for closed cans (Andrew Scheps mixes on them). Those are open-back, though, check HD662 EVO for closed-back.

    Another vote for DT 880 Pros. Had HD800s for a while, preferred DT 880 Pros. Definitely get Sonarworks Systemwide as well whichever you choose.
