VSL SE Vol 5: Dimension Strings 1+2

Hi Saxer, You can turn off the impulse responses in the Synchron Player. There is also the humanization in Synchron Player but then again the VI and Synchron player are both options so having the option to choose what one prefers is great.

    Is Nuendo Really Like Cubase?

Nuendo is the bigger brother to Cubase. The main question is if the extra features are relevant to you. If you are doing game audio, then there definitely are some nice Nuendo only features and if you do go with Nuendo, you won’t be missing anything that you already had with Cubase. Steinberg...

    VEPro 7 now available!

Hi Craig, Cubase uses an Steinberg/eLicenser Dongle which is the same as what a Vienna Key is. As far as VE PRO 7 is concerned, you only need a license of VE PRO 7 on the machine you plan to actually load virtual instruments inside of it. If you only plan to load virtual instruments on a...

    VEPro 7 now available!

That wasn't my video but I thought was a good comprehended video about what was new in VE PRO 7. Well, before you would just have Parameter 1-512 and now the name of the actual parameter shows up in the DAW so it isn't just #52 for example. There are also some copy paste options in VE PRO 7...

    VEPro 7 now available!

Everyone has different needs so some features will look more appealing than others. I am a Nuendo user (was on Cubase which is very similar) and I think the parameter automation improvements are much better and easier to use. Being able to search to add instruments is way easier now and now...

Art Conductor for Cubase Opinions ?

I see 8dio Century Ostinato is supported but what about Century Strings or Century Brass? Also, are there going to be VSL Synchron or VSL Synchron-ized Expression Maps in the future? This may not be necessary as VSL makes their own which is nice but their mapping would be different.

That doesn't sound normal to me. Definitely should send this behavior in an email to VSL to have them look at it ([email protected]).

VSL Synchron Series in VI pro or Synchron Player?

Humanize functionality got added into Synchron Player. I think going forward Synchron Player is the way to go.

    VEPro 7 now available!

As a Cubase user on PC, I've found that the less instances in VE PRO, the better. Can't confirm but this may help you on a Mac running Cubase. With Logic, it tends to be the reverse where you want many instances with less instruments in each one.

You can also disable instruments in VE PRO 6 while still retaining all the patch information, routing, and freeing up CPU/Memory so really using VE PRO 6 is the best of both worlds (disabling plus much better performance) in a single computer setup.

Steinberg NUENDO sale up to 70% off

How are you all liking Nuendo 10 so far? As a Cubase 10 user who cross-graded over to Nuendo 10, I'm glad Nuendo 10 has caught up with Cubase now. I hope Nuendo in the future starts including some useful features in Music Production ahead of Cubase instead of behind it but that is just me. In...

Steinberg NUENDO sale up to 70% off

I'm currently a Cubase 10 user and very interested in the Nuendo Crossgrade offer that includes Nuendo 10 when it comes out. One use I can see being useful is the Game Audio to easily compose music and have it switch to Wwise to test/implement. Beyond that though, does Nuendo have features or...

Sooo many reverbs but which one would you prefer for orchestral use?

Don't forget MIR PRO with its outstanding Roompacks. I really like using the combination of using a soundstage like Teldex from Roompack 2 and then Miracle (an Algorithmic Reverb that comes free with MIR Pro) to enhance the tail.

    8DIO Century Brass

Hi HBen, Are you sure about this? Last I recall, I believe these GUI screenshots were actually different designs 8dio were testing with before deciding the final looks with what we have for version 1.0.

    Taiko Creator

Any way of demoing this product to see how well it performs? I'm sure my computer can run it but wondering how intensive it actually is as it sounds like it is quite demanding with a bunch of solo instruments. If you can't, I understand but thought I'd ask since I imagine returns aren't possible.

Taiko Creator vs 8dio Taiko Ensemble/Solo Taiko

Anyone have thoughts on Taiko Creator? I see the unique aspect of it all being from solo Taikos that you add together in an ensemble adjusting attacks, etc but I also see that as a potential CPU drain to do this. Does this library give an advantage over just using 8dio Taiko Ensemble and their...

Taiko Creator vs 8dio Taiko Ensemble/Solo Taiko

    8DIO Century Brass

Excited for this new update! I hope the Century Brass 2 and Century Strings 2 also have a way do global keyswitching. If you want to move the keys up an octave for example, you have to select each articulation separately, and move your mouse up or down to change the keyswitch. This gets real...

    Dry strings ensemble - advices

VSL "Synchron FX Strings I" is coming soon.

Hi Heisenberg, The additional microphones in the Full Library are not only useful for surround but for stereo mixes as well. Think of them as additional options for your mix. Some of these extra mic positions from Full Library are included in the Standard but only as a down-mix via the Room Mix...

VSL - Synchron Piano (out now)

Hi Good, I find the full library a lot of fun for additional options in the sound. With the runtime delay on the microphones you can get a more animated/depth from the soundstage or you can turn them off for a more solid feel. The close mic 2 from Full Library also is great to use either with...
