Those Diva Sounds are totally uber decent. Thanks, buzz!
Cool with a collaboration. Who did what?
Cool, thanks. Ha, I used a directX version in cubase 3. THOSE are at least long gone :)
I used Steinberg Magneto for a long time. Sounded great to my ears at the time. Long gone now, I guess...
Come on, APD. Really?
They did... umm, like last year I think.
Edit: Yes, Vstbuzz sold both Klaviers for like $40 each in match 2018
They did... umm, like last year I think.
Oh, another "we better jump on before they correct the mistake"... This is starting to look like a trend. I'm not sure I approve of marketing...
You guys always complain, complain.
When it's actually 8DIO we should all complain about. To the breach! Pitchforks for everyone! :elephant:
The what now? :roflmao:
Yeah, that would explain it of course.
Ok, a bit of a small review here... Gee, maybe there's something wrong with me. But I'm not 100% impressed by this drum fury thing, after messing...
"88 ensemble" boasts the worst piano-per-gigabyte ratio I have ever encountered. Lots of velocity layers that sound more or less the same. Stay...
Kudos to IK and APD, but I just don't have the time to learn yet another synth.
They are now Mk2, and pretty much changed their name to 308P. But many stores still call them LSR. Very confusing.
But regardless of the name,...
Not impressed with their guitars either.
You can, and you can also use the old $10 coupon that Reuben found. Simultaneously.
Continuata is pretty much industry standard these days. We all use it. Give them a trash email address if you like.
Not impressed by this, sadly. Sounds very "sampled". Maybe a lack of RR:s or sumfing.
Certainly works :D Thanks, Reuben!
Ah, Reuben's video absolutely mentioned the "grouped" patches. I must start to pay better attention.
Sumfing's wrong with the countdown timer...
Over a hundred Kontakt patches? Sounds very unwieldy. Are there any "kit" patches so you can use most of the library using only... say... eight...
Oh, it's taken directly from Symphobia, I take it...
I'm not sure how sordino strings are supposed to sound, but this is pleasing to my ears :)
Cool! Lots of little goodies to pick from.
Who made the "suspended cymbals" library? Wavesfactory, perhaps? No tamtams though.
I like Handheld's stuff. Not sure I need even more drum kits though.. .
ReaComp and Blockfish are the ones I use the most on most projects. Then for special tasks, I might reach for others.
Exactly 8 kontakt instruments? Neeat!
I like the arrangement, the percussion and the mix, especially nice insertion of the NASA samples. The strings don't really sound natural though.
Reaper starts up in about a second :inlove:
I bought a cheap one at Thomann once, and it worked well for my setup at the time.
What's this? A thread without any 8dio bashing??
The water percussion is somewhat cool. Many samples have horrible bathroom reverb on them though.
You should always batch resave your new libraries anyway. Do it on a library level, no need to do each instrument manually...
Gee, 22 gigs though? It certainly seems worth 13 euro, but is it really worth 22gb of drive space?
This isn't Drama, aight? This is Off Topic.
Audio animals? Cool, never heard of them. Does anyone have this and can comments on the usability and quality? Demos sound legit..
Yes, they're great. Lots of articulations and nice sound. The brass is better than the saxes though.
You're probably technically right. But they are pretty much close enough, I'd say. Search Wikipedia for "kalimba" for example. Same entry.
When I think about it, what's really the difference from when Audiobro proclaims "60% off", when they have had 30% discounted prices all through...
"reward points"? Man, what a lost opportunity. You should of course have called them "vstbuxx"
Cool that you're adding more stuff to...
Wow, really? Duude! o_O
UVI has a beatbox library and 8dio has some wierd beatboxing-with-water-in-your-mouth thingy...
Argh, I totally missed Mallet flux. Looks awesome! Well, next summer maybe...
Yes, Beatskillz' engines are sub par, but the samples are often decent enough. Just shove'em into Kontakt, sforzando or what ever and boogie!
So mostly phrases and loops, I take it?
Muletone are cool. I'm oversaturated with drum kits though... :)
That kind of stuff should be saved inside each project file. I have never encountered settings resetting by themselves in Kontakt. I assume you...
Huh, no present under this tree... :(
Separate names with a comma.
