Spider Strings you say? :dancer:
Spitfire Perc has the best one, imo. It certainly has that "magic" going on (i think it was actually used in Harry Potter?).
But that library is...
I have just about every effing orchestral library out there, but i'm tempted to buy this, lol! The library seems like a freakin no brainer if...
@muk Maybe it all comes down to personal preference? I never found SO, HO to be complicated (even when i was starting out). I just had issues...
There's certanly a learning curve, but there's a learning curve with any software (the legato in CSS is a nightmare to learn, which is probably...
Hollywood Orchestra is still the best library for the price. Quality, quantity, and affordability are all there. Play is the only hangup for some.
Downloaded Synthwave Drums from Beatskillz last night. Very nice!
Whenever i run into mixing issues, it's usually due to the composition itself.
Btw, the size of your monitors and the size of your room make a...
1. I personally prefer Kontakt. Dragging and dropping wav files isn't really my thing.
2. Definitely both!
Considering how good Power Move is, I'm definitely stoked to hear this!
Do you have a release date?
Not much of the library is dedicated to percussion, which is my only complaint. You get your basic kit, and that's about it.
Guy, I only wish you did more reviews! Your take on the ProjectSAM stuff is incredibly enjoyable/entertaining.
Cory's review for Afflatus totally helped me pull the trigger.
I don't know about sound quality, but I will say that I experience more crashes with Cubase than I ever did with Logic.
Cineharps is excellent, especially for realism. ProjectSAM's harp is my favorite though.
Awesomeness! Thanks so much!
Good to know!
Btw, can this tutorial also apply to MK3?
Awesome! Thanks. And what about recording the arp? Will the notes display in your daw when recording? I just want to be able to further edit if...
Really? That easy? What about selecting certain chords, and generating an arp out of it?
Also do the arp notes automatically show up in your daw...
Is there an arp feature for Maschine MK3? I was able to find a YouTube video for the previous version, but not for current one. Is the...
The idea of hearing "my" music in someone else's song always drove me crazy.
Here's a synthpop track I recently did (heavily) using Power Move.
I don't think I've ever written anything this poppy before (well, I actually did use a clip from my Power Move review video for the main section...
I do want to point out that Afflatus is a living library, and that updates and new content are in the forseeable future. George has also been...
You're certainly entitled to your own opinion, for sure. No one can knock you for that! I will say a few things though...
- Judging a library you...
Looks like another good SF lib for underscoring.
This might just do it. The price is attractive. How's the sound quality and workflow?
This actually sounds really cool!
Thanks for the replies everyone. Alright so it seems that the yes and no answer is Stylus. I'll definitely take a look into that.
With that said,...
Looking for a synth drum library that has studio quality and pre-made presets that don't require any kind of real adjusting, basically an...
I haven't downloaded the update yet. Does the Roland D50 have the calliope sounds?
So true. The stacking features alone really make for an endless array of possibilities.
Omnisphere is one of those libraries that takes you on an adventure every time you use it. I'm really looking forward to this new update!
Omnisphere is definitely your one stop shop for that stuff.
Btw, sorry about your little guy as well. Maybe Mazbeth and Sammie are playing together right now. A cool thought, right?
Thanks Eric! I appreciate the kind words. :)
Thanks whiskers. :)
Yes, I used Power Move, as well as Omnisphere.
A simple song I did in a few short hours. I dedicate it to my dog who passed a couple of days ago. He was a yorkie who's life was cut short due to...
Yep. Soundiron is tha shiznit!
Kinda surprised this isn't part of the Afflatus series.
Reminds me of Billy Madison.
Here's a track I did using the timpani from Truse Strike 1. I really like how it sits in the mix.
I randomly press keys on my keyboard until it sounds good. Seriously.
No need to apologize. People who get bent over old bumped threads usually have their panties in a twist.
HOP is awesome for clarity, but really...
I didn't even realize this time stamp on this thread.
Indeed! No use for it after buying Cineperc. ;)
...still miss that to to timpani though.
