Brazen - Brass stabs (for EDM)

Some of you might be interested in this: Brazen. A plugin.

I got it as part of Roses.

ESW (Echo Sound Works)

It's specifically for producers who want an out of the box EDM type brass hit / bass sound. Decided to quickly make a video playing a couple notes with the presets, and saving two presets. I'm guessing this might be using HISE and / or JUCE?

its both. HiSE and JUCE
Cool, thanks! I’m on the Matkat mailing list but haven’t taken a course yet. Seeing something like this from Shane makes me wonder how “easy” something like this might be, or if we’ll see more [sample players] pop up in the near future.

Well "easy" is a relative term. It didn't include too much I haven't done before - so it was just a matter of time spent to "get it done", all the sounds and images were Shane's obviously.

Whats the "matkat mailing list"?

Yes I made it.

Never seen those courses before and I don't see any reference to JUCE, but hey it was a cursory look... - though clearly the starting place would be a C++ course and then spending time with the JUCE API.
Very cool! Good work, I liked your plugin.

Yeah my link wasn’t specific enough. It’s “Project 10” in the C++ course that apparently involves some JUCE introduction. https://www.programmingformusicians.com/project10/

Thanks, it was 95% HISE with a few of my custom tweaks in JUCE, so really the C++ knowledge to make something like this is actually quite small. If you are interested in HISE courses I know Dave Healey has a patreon (Im a subscriber) and a lot of videos...

I'll check him out!
