Hi,

I want to share my first ost (Diorama Tower Defense: Tiny Kingdom (Prologue) i've composed for a video game on Steam and will be released at 9th of april and it's free. Also there will be a premium version of this game.

i really enjoy write the soundtrack for this game because it's my first time to write ambient synth, kind of experimental for level stage game. i mostly using kontakt instrument, synth and a lot of reverb. my biggest inspiration are from mobile game called monument valley and i really love the soundtrack. i also write orchestra style for the title theme.

Overall its pretty fun experience and i'm glad we released it on steam even its only prologue version.

this is my first achievement so i'm really happy about that. enjoy!!!

this is a title screen for diorama tower defense

At first: Congratulations for your first OST, you have to feel great! ;)

I just listened to the title screen track and I really like how well the composition goes with the visuals.

Thanks, it's my first achievement to release it on steam. Honestly, i'm not sure if the music for stage level is fit, but my friends who made this game trusted me and liked it, so i hope after the paid version release, people would enjoy and satisfied with this game.

Hm to my ears it doesn't really fit well. Probably it's just way to loud and has to be turned down by 15db or so, then some FX sounds above it (atmo and noises from characters/stuff moving), and then it will fit the usual in game sounds one expects.
The lower ostinato melody which is there right from the start gives it a bit of a dark character. Maybe if that is one or two octaves higher it has a more positive mood?

Actually i just want to add some mysterious feeling since the theme is fantasy adventure. After the woodwind section comes, it makes the music more dreamy, like telling story about stuff, then next transition, clarinet and bassoon changed to staccato and also celesta and tambourine to add some fantasy feel. and the last transition is the chorus. In the chorus i tried to add some volume/saturation to make it more exciting, and it tells about a journey of the story. Sorry if my english isn't good
