I really do love the roomy, ambient and rhythmic sounds I'm hearing in the video Modwheel, but what I'm wondering (and couldn't really tell from the video except for occasional hints) is if this library can also produce a wide variety of the kind of close mic, chaotic and abrassive feedback sounds used by bands like Sonic Youth?

(I edited to remove unnecessary Sonic Youth videos)

Yeah, it can do chaotic. (remembering that a whole lot of Sonic Youths appeal is that of a live band, going for it.)
All the sounds have seperate close, mid and far mic adjustments, so you can have just close mic if desired.
It covers a pretty wide range of guitar and mic spin feedback possibilities.
Here's a promo that shows some variety in the sounds. It's all FEEDBACK, (except for the drums).

The special intro price ends in a couple more days.
Here's a link to our FEEDBACK SoundCloud playlist, to help win you over.

Picked this up a couple of days ago. OMG! To me this is the best library of the year. Who needs legato when you can simply get completely stoned with a few notes.

It was still on sale earlier today. OMG!

Good one Heisenberg. That's how we felt when we were making it. We kept getting lost in it, as did our beta testers. We've been busy here and haven't had a chance to take it off sale yet, so now that you've given it such a great plug, we'll leave it on sale for another day or two.

I just got an email and learned about this, watched the trailer and promo, and this is the first sample library I've been stoked about in a long time.

The problem with Modwheel's promotional material is that they're so spectacularly well done that I can't tell if I'm falling in love with the great music and the cool video content or liking the library per se. But since everything Modwheel makes is quality, I'm not worried about it. I will watch the full tutorial tonight or tomorrow.

That I missed the intro price makes me sadder than the sad man who hides behind blue eyes who no one knows what it's like to be. But c'est la vie and all of that, and the price is quite reasonable. Furthermore, I am happy that it is FULL Kontakt, outside of the Native Access system.

In general I share your concern about being lulled by promo videos like these.

I decided to watch the Walkthrough video again to see if it had been "puffed up". Nope, it is a dead accurate representation of the product, even though the video is well done.

The library sounds really good! I'm also curious on what drums you are using in this demo, if it's ok to share obviously ;)
