A little bit hard to describe first impressions on this cause they really differ from as what this library is offered in first place.

"Immersive" would be one of the last descriptions coming to my mind (even if it was limited to "evolving pad") after having a first look and hear on this :) .

With "Quantum", how it is offered, and the 7,3 GB of content, 120 presets (all shown in a nice overview under "presets" on the Quantum page which really gives you a good overview of what to expect) I expected something like this combined with what always catches my interest: "movement".

But I think the second part of the description:

developing intuitive tools that will inspire a sense of discovery, setting the stage for a unique experience

really fits much better what this library is really about :) .

The 7,3 GB content gets relativated soon if you see that in the end there are 20 soundsources left to choose from on the two layers (both the same).

So back to the description second part:

- "intuitive" YES, YES and Yes :) , I love modulation and here you dont even need a manual to understand: sync/speed - amount, click the boxes that you want to be included in the modulation, thats it, and the big crossfade button in the middle shows you in realtime whats happening
- and another YES, that really "inspire a sense of discovery"

And what makes the "unique" part of it in my mind is just the opposite of "Immersive": this easy to use concept combined with the very good and special handpicked 20 soundsources working really great in this engine gives you a very unique moving sounds only possible while soundsources and engine fit that well together.

I have to admit with this first version there is room for devellopment and improvement in GUI and functionallity but what counts for me is that it is really something special and you could get moving sounds that just have that "something" I am always looking for.

Hi Karl,

We appreciate the support and thanks for taking the time to express your thoughts. 🙂👍

We would like to clarify @KarlHeinz comment on the "20 sound sources" as it is causing some confusion, it's actually 773 files 24 folders, of sound sources. The library is over 7GB more than 120 presets 773 high-quality samples endless layer combinations to sculpting your sound with, the combinations can be endless.

Hi Mike,

sorry if I maybe have just overseen something, I just looked into the pads (which had the most available soundsources of all the preset categories as far as I have seen) and for the two layers to choose there I had the same 20 soundsources for both layers. So I really wonder how you get > 1225 layer configurations?

Hi Karl, we are happy to help clarify this, so yes there are 24 folders 773 samples over 7GB installed. The amount of layer combination can be near endless, This is including, creating your own multi patches etc. We recommend checking out our in-depth walk-through
