KEEP FOREST - Summer Sale

Which ones do folks like the best? Their site makes it pretty hard to differentiate between their products - seems like the big difference is the engine used and sometimes it comes with synth lines / drones.

I don’t own any of their products but Evo Atlantica seems to be a fan favorite here. I’m also surprised more people aren’t talking about this sale.

Well - to be honest...they all sound cool, have good quality and are useful - but they also sound kind of the same - not in detail, but overall. I bought the Evolution: Atlantica, the Vikings: Cinematic Hybrid Punk Folk (not "much" viking in it) and the Aizerix Classic Trailer Toolkit. I like them all but they all have braams, risers, downer, impacts, swooshes, arps, some instruments like piano, basses, pads, drones, distorted things. They all would fit the next Transformers-Trailer ;)

the Aizerx Classic Trailer Toolkit (and follow up products) is cool - its a six layer x/y-pad morphing tool. you can create your own trailer-sounds by combining different sounds and record the x-/y-movement for a lot of parameters. There is really a ton of useful material in it... (less distorted stuff if I remember right)

the Vikings: Cinematic Hybrid Punk Folk got some more dark, distorted and gritty sounds like cello basses, low, mid and high cello textures, some warhorn braams, pulses and some male voice shoutings, etc. There is a lot of stuff to tweak the sounds.

the Evolution Atlantica got cool brasses, pulses, pads, leads, etc. - its one of the oldest library from KF but not bad at all. Maybe its one of the cheapest right now and if you have no hybrid trailer stuff its a good way to start. And if you like the aestethic of KF sounds - get more ;)

When the new Devistator was released I got interested but after I´ve heared some sounds I thought: "Mehhh...I have enough to work with from that already". Of course they sound a little more modern, heroic, etc. but I feel kind of bored.

I have from Keepforest: 1) Classic Trailer 2) Hybrid Cyberpunk 3) Vikings Cinematic Hybrid Punk 4) Evolution Atlantica 5) Evolution Dragon, and each of them have some similarities but still their own unique content. My "composing ground" is pretty much based on cinematic/epic/trailerish sounds, so each of these will add something to the mix. Still thinking of grabbing from the sale "Vikings Expansion Metal Cinematic" and maybe one of the "Modern Designer Toolkit or Trailer SFX Designer" - but have to listen which one of these two has the most compelling content for my needs...

So far I have Evolution Atlantica and the Vikings Metal Cinematic Expansion. Especially the Metal Expansion I like to use very much. The drums have a good punch and I like the sound of the guitars.

I wonder if Cinematic Hybrid Folk Punk would be a good addition?
I don't really need more Booms, Brahms and Rises and so on. Rather good pulses and maybe some aggressive percussion.

I can give high recommendations and after having the library during this summer, I was very pleased for the quality, amount and variety of content.

I decided to buy the AizerX Classic Trailer Toolkit after all. Seems to be the addition I was looking for. But I had a hard time because most of the demos are not naked. That is difficult because it might suggest content that is not part of the libraries.

I hope Audio Imperia will make a sale soon, there are still 2 libraries I really want to have (Terraform and Scenes from the Multiverse).

Sounds good! I have those ones also - can recommend 😉

How are you liking it? I have AVA instinct and don’t use it enough, so decided to probably skip this sale.

I like the sound, but I have massive problems with dropouts and CPU overloads.
At least with the main patches.

In the Sustainmotions, it seems that the combos distributed on the keyboard are not loaded immediately, but only after the first keystroke. This is totally stupid.

Wow, I'm pretty sobered up about the way things work. To use the patches in a reasonable way you have to press every key until the sounds are loaded.
This is almost useless if you want to use the main multi-interface. The individual patches are ok, but as a working tool AizerX is a bitter disappointment. Even for the sale price I find it too expensive. First of all I want to add to the list "which libraries I regret having bought".
Maybe I can still find the right workaround, I did not expect that.
