Spitfire Studio Orchestra - anyone care to share some tracks?

for what it worths i recently posted a track using only SSO for non percussive orchestra, woods, brass and strings. It may help hearing the lib in a kinda full orchestral context.

Thanks, that helps a lot. Great track!
The brass is pretty ballsy here too. I didn't really put SStO in the "big sound" category before.

However, we'll have to fine you for using the incorrect VI-Control Approved (™) abbreviation to describe the library. Two weeks penance writing with Fruity Loops on Windows ME should do it. ;)

That's lovely - the strings sounds great here. Is there any more? ;)
Thanks Alex. No really that's it for that exercise lol. I was just practicing some part stuff that morning. Like @JohnG says, you don't have to boil the ocean. I got SStpro last year and it's my writing workhorse for now. So like in that exercise I don't need 18 string players on every part. So the studio orchestra divisi is great because I can have smaller sections and 'hear' whats working. You can 'build' your band. Spitfire wasn't the first but they are the 'latest' with the small sections.

Still not the full orchestra but I finally uploaded a couple more with just the strings (and one or two other libraries).

Neither are ones you want to listen to whilst walking home in the dark.

I'm still working on the full SStO track but I'm learning and liking the libraries more and more as I go.

Hi
Here is a good video on YT, it's not made by me (I'd like to have these skills...)
It's purely done with Spitfire Studio Orchestra and goes quite in details.

Thanks for posting the link. Pete Calandra showcases the library well with that composition of his.

Crikes, this is great!!...This should be on the Spitfire demo page. At last, something from their libraries that is not a constant barrage of legato and long notes...**

Terrific writing. I enjoyed it very much.
