Infinite Brass 1.3 — Expansion 01 Adds 2 Bass Trumpets and 2 Euphoniums

Nice work on adding the midi files for your demos, too. Very helpful from a balancing perspective. Attack improvements very obvious too!

life hack, combining sample modeling and infinite brass seems to work great.

there are 3 tracks there, with minimal humanization on of the 2 horn tracks. (its 4 horns and 2 trumpets in a 2/2/2 fashion through 3 different kontakt instances)

edit: John Williams please don't be angry at another sloppy attempt at a brass library starwars mockup, but I just enjoy how easily it handles these nuanced phrases just played in live. It's still infinite + sample modeling.

Perhaps you can do these with Infinite only?

would probably sound like mush - SM is brighter than the sun, all of the processing that was done was with a core part of the sound being shrill and high pitched. Since a lot of processing went into simply taming/pushing SM back, and IB is naturally darker - I'm not sure it's worth doing.

brief note: a short little excerpt with 3 horns (using 1 recorded line, a little editing, and a little humanization) showing off slight detuning values seem to make things feel much more ensemble.

nothing fancy - really lazy setup sound wise, where it's mostly the close and main, with a MIR pro send(to 1 ensemble horns 4a) and a little pro-mb to tame the lows and add some 7kish expansion.

I actually have a 1 vibrato slider assigned to CC2, and the other 2 go up or down 0-0.7 cents on CC2.

2nd example has less humanization on Wagner's theme, 2nd example almost no humanization outside of simply moving the notes.

One thing I've noticed is that I feel like I might want to adjust the velocity curve to more or less an expo curve.

Sounds awesome! Did you use one SM trumpet and the other trumpets Infinite Brass or multiple instances of the SM Unison Trumpet?
