Decided to do speedscoring daily for min 60 mins, and just have a go at whatever comes out of it. I decide the theme by choosing a picture, and then disconnect internet and phone, and will go with the first idea that presents itself.

It's amazing how often I go back to the first take/version, even though I make many versions of themes and harmony every time! Feels refreshing and also gives some confidence in one's own musicality.

Do you guys also follow a similar routine to boost your creativity and stay in the composing-flow? If so, I would love to hear about it and listen to your sketches.

This week I have decided to go for the medieval-inspired sound. Here are the two newest ones:

EDIT:

Newest track, now with vocal also. Scary but extremely fun at the same time!

Nice! What library did you use for the strumming/string sound on the Tuscany track?

Thank you! It's a mix of OT Harpsichord (italian version) and NI Session Guitarist Strummed Acoustic 2. There are some adjustements to the sound using dynamic eq and reverb.

EDIT: The 6-stringed guitar from NI.

I can't believe I haven't thought of this before. Seems like a good idea to me!

Are those embertone flutes?

Hey guys, here is my newest track. Today I decided that I want to include my own voice for making my own sound more personal and for expanding my sonic palette.

This is my first take
