Anyone recommend some rhythm emulators for 70s/disco grooves?

These are all great - thank you thank you. Checking all outOrange Tree's Stratosphere has the right sound. If a strumming engine is important to you, theirs looks much better for funk than other strumming engines I've seen.

+1 Very good and versatile (and also good bang for the buck) for disco and funk style rhythms.Also take a look at Funkyguitar 2.0 from Pettinhouse. I used it last year on a discoesque song and it worked great.

If you want to take the hassle and play the rhythms yourself have a look at Acousticsamples stratocaster. I love the sound and the playability.
You could try Shreddage 3 Stratus. I wrote a demo in a disco/funk style and I thought it sounded pretty good! These chords/patterns are not pre-recorded either, you can write whatever you want.
