Hey gents,

Happy to announce that we've released Boutique Drums Ruby - the first of the series!

We invested a ton of love into this lil' beauty, designed for composers/producers who need a banging drum track quickly. Included are eight interchangeable "baked-in" mix presets, synced live hi-hat grooves, and repetition sampling -- all housed in a simple, intuitive interface.

Check it out: https://www.musicalsampling.com/boutique-drums-ruby

Surprised! Personally, I was expecting the following product: woodwind instruments, or orchestral percussions, or something cinematic...

Does it work on softer tracks too? The demos seem all pretty heavy hitting. Would love to hear a moodier track if possible. Love the pre-recorded hat patters. Great stuff. Just would like to see a softer side of the library.

Ruby is IMO very versatile. It was mixed to really "pop" through with little effort and give you a great sounding drum track right out of the box. The Jock, Workhorse, and Closer give you plenty of room to not be so aggressive. Played at a softer velocity (especially Closer), you can really get an intimate sound.

I believe you. Wish they had one demo piece featuring that more intimate side. I love other Musical Sampling's offerings, but as I don't do Rock music, I would be interested in drums if they work well in a more intimate moody setting.

Same here. One soft demo could have been included. Even Metal guitar plugins show their versatility by including at least one clean guitar demo just to capture a wider customer base if nothing else. That said, it does sound good for sure.

Update. Decided to pull the trigger on these after comparing them to what I have. I can use those for the softer stuff. These have a more lively sound for my rocky stuff.

Please @Aaron Sapp can you give us just one demo in a more intimate setting? Hopefully until the intro pricing remains. A Ballad of sorts, or a moody track. I love the first look video, and it obviously sounds great and is revolutionary. I bought many of your previous libraries, but I am on the fence about this library as I have not heard the drums in a different context from the heavy demo tracks. Thanks.
