It looks like Liine have abandoned Lemur for iOS?

Just looked on the iOS App Store and doesn't appear to be anywhere.

Just checked the Google Play Store and it still appears to be there.

Any thoughts on this?

Just tried and you’re right that it works :). Odd that it’s not appearing in search of on the store itself though.

I just tried a search of the App Store on my iPhone and Lemur is still there, thank goodness. Must have been a temporary glitch, or at least I hope so. (Your email gave me a fright for a few seconds.)

Yu could potentially still say they have though
Since it has not been updated in about 18 months now...

There hasn't been too much added since they ported it to iOS, so you do have a point there. They removed the Lemur forum too :/.

What would you like to see added to Lemur? It can do basically anything. Most people who use it don't even use it to 1/1,000,000th of its possibilities. I don't think the devs have abandoned it, there are just few places more you could take an app with essentially limitless flexibility.

Fix bugs in the script editor, increase the length limit on scripts, add the ability to dynamically create/destroy objects, increase the max vector size, add more string manipulation functions, change vectors so they can be completely empty, and add multidimensional vectors.

It's more a matter of cleaning up the nuts and bolts of what they've already got than of adding new high-level features.

Add to that a thorough documentation and tutorials to easier learn how to get fluent with scripting it and I will be happy! I would gladly pay for that the full price of the app again, if they would just do that ... I suppose it is very difficult to maintain an app as extensive as Lemur on the App Store due to the dumping prices apps sell there. Well, even in the world of PC/Mac programs it becomes increasingly difficult to find something that is thoroughly updated and fixed. Marketing seems to point to adding new features in order to make money.

OK, now this is a good reply. Indeed. OK, but you are a programmer. Pretty much no one even knows what you are talking about. From an economic perspective, I can't see why Liine would expand the low level scripting when relatively few users have such knowledge. These limitations could require an entire rewrite of the engine. But, yes, those things would be nice!
