Hi Leo
cool to meet you. I cannot attend the class before July as I am enrolled in Berklee and
I am about to graduate so big pressure for my final project. I am wondering if you have classes with a specific schedule or if it is more based on tutorials that you can use whenever.

thank you so much
best

Hi Marco, once enrolled you will have a life time access to the course and all its updates. Therefore you can go at your own pace and review the content whenever you feel like.
Our private forum also contains a lot of good information from me and all members.
The course is currently 14 weeks long (used to be 12) and lessons will be dripped during this time accordingly but actually I don't think anyone will complete it in this short period of time. No one has made it that fast so far. There's a lot behind each tittle.

Are there any members here who have taken the course, and can share their honest feedback about it? How informative did you ultimately find it? Was a good value for the money?

Hey Gingerbread,

I was one of the first guys through the door when STM launched.

The content is (like any other masterclass) one person's own experience and take on the subject. It is very logically laid out and progresses in a manner which builds your knowledge and skillset as you work through the modules. There are corresponding assignments for each module. Leandro has a firm grasp of the concepts he is presenting and beyond just the wealth of knowledge delivered I found very interesting workflows which I had not previously thought of which has greatly helped my own productivity. Note that this is a technical/mockup course and not a musical course i.e. if you are looking to write like Leandro (if you have heard his music) then you will be better served to wait for the future courses he has in the pipeline, but if you are looking to improve your productions and mockups then this course is worthwhile.

The examples used in the course are all from Leandro's own mockups (or something original for the course) which means that you get to have a look over his shoulder how he does things. He uses Logic X but the workflows and ideas can be applied to any DAW.

The platform itself has developed over the period that I have been a member and many of the technical hiccups associated with a new product have been ironed out (for both the course and the associated forum for the community). I personally have had some issues with course modules being locked which I already completed and which took a day or two to rectify but other than that my experience with the platform has been very positive. Leandro provides feedback on every comment and assignment in the forum, which in itself points to his dedication as it must take a bit of time to get to all the posts and answer/comment as he always provides context and insight and not just a yes or no type answer.

There is also the option of having the full contact sessions with Leandro which adds even more value to an already packed course.

So in summary I would say YES, it is worth the money (as you are not just paying for pre-recorded videos but also get to interact with Leandro and the community) and YES, it is definitely informative and adds to your practical knowledge base. As with anything, it is what you make of it. If you just want to sit and watch instruction videos then you can do that, but if you apply the material in the way Leandro suggests then you will get maximum benefit.
