Heavyocity Flash sale

anyone who have Vocalise 1 & 2 care to comment if both are equal quality/both of good use? Like what I'm hearing from both. Same kind of stuff just different singers in different keys, right?

Yes, me too. That's probably my next Heavyocity library if I don't pick up SG2 during this sale. Also Novo or Forzo if they get to the 50% off threshold.

agreed.
I might pick up Forzo or Novo as well at >=50% off, but it looks like this sale is more of their 'packs' stuff from what I can tell. I'm enjoying IT though, so far... Need to play with it more. RT seems like a nice addition.

I prefer Vocalise 1 to Vocalise 2. I've not really been able to figure out why though. I don't think Vocalise 2 has ever managed to stay in a track for me. I use Vocalise 1 all the time. Go figure!

I'm not expecting Forzo, Novo or Rhythmic Textures this time around. This seems to be just Gravity and Gravity packs. But Heavyocity does 50% sales often enough. Though I don't think either Novo or Forzo has been offered at 50% yet.

Have done some experimenting with both layered; Reverb OFF; bx_rooMS ON. Very limited impressions so far.

To anyone who might have experience with these packs: if you were to get ONE of the Vocalise packs and ONE of the Scoring Guitar packs - what would the pair be? I already have Natural Forces and Gravity. I like what I'm hearing in the demos, but I can't grab all four.

Sorry don't own multiple, so my advice is limited. But I grabbed Vocalise 2 and I'm loving it. I'm tempted to get Voc 1 but might wait until the next sale, get the mileage out of this first. I like doing things back to front so maybe get Vocalise 1 and be sensible!

I have both of the Vocalise packs. I've had 1 for quite a while and have used it a lot and I got 2 at the weekend. I've not explored 2 fully yet but there seems to be roughly similar phrases, fewer sustained vowels, a smaller (I think) selection of pads but it has the pedals in which 1 doesn't have. These are short staccato phrases which are either exactly what you're looking for or completely useless. Hard to say which to choose really as I've not had a lot of time to directly compare them yet.

Of course a matter of taste. I have SG1 and thinking myself of getting SG2.
I have both Vocalise packs and mainly use Vocalise 2. But both are really excellent for my usage.
My favorite vocal instruments. It is just after some time it can get overused.
But even at full price i never regret it so far.
I wish they would make a much bigger Vocalise library one day.
Scoring Guitar 2 is the only Gravity pack i do not own and so i might get it finally since i like version 1 (but not as much as Vocalise 1 and especially Vocalise 2).
If you have not already i can recommend to download the free production loops 2018 from Heavyocity which has a nice touch of Vocalise and Scoring Guitars.

The loops and ambience etc are more or less more of the same between vocalise 1 and 2 (which is not necessarily a bad thing).

The real distinguishing features in my mind are the moving vowels in 1 vs the rhythmic pedals in 2. I have both, but if I were to choose 1 it would come down to the rhythmic pedals vs the moving vowels. Both are very nice.

How do the Natural Forces compare to the Omnisphere 2 noisescapes and textures? I'm very tempted to get Natural Forces but I already have Omnisphere 2 so I'm wondering if it would just be more of the same thing.

Finally bought Scoring Guitars 2, now completed all Gravity packs.
I did not know they have now a new install portal. Better as the continuata hell i gone trough before....

I like all of the Gravity packs, indeed, the only thing I dislike, or at least still find perplexing, oddly enough, is the Gravity engine itself, which evidently just does not work the way my brain thinks it should. I have Gravity and all the packs except SG2, and I use all of the packs far more than I use Gravity itself. (I haven't found Vocalise 2 as useful as Vocalise 1, but I still have found Vocalise 2 more useful than Gravity.)

Same here, i use the expansions much more....same for NOVO.
I think we could see some FORZO expansions as well in the future.

From the demos I personally don't see much I can't do with omni2. I'm passing on this one
