Best Orchestra Remote Session on Budget?

do they do music sheet transcription as well ? base on project file or can be base on mp3? i'm interested to look for one which offers both transcription and recording service. Sometimes, my customer might want a a piece of live recording piece but at budgeted price.

Yes, they offer that as well. Obviously there is a difference in pricing as it takes longer to transcribe like that. But I've seen it happen multiple times.

99 Orchestra are the worst on the market as sound and customer service.
I don't advise at all to hire them .
Dynamedion are great .

Wow, Dynamedion team comprises 40-50 men and 2 women (in finance and marketing). They all look like lovely people, but I wonder if they could work on balancing that ratio a little more? Sorry for the O.T...

Not sure why that would be necessary? Who says you should have a ceretain ratio? You hire the right people for the job. As long as they are not specifically trying to not hire women (I am sure they are not) the ratio they have currently is absolutely fine.

No, that kind of ratio definitely has the look of a boys' club.

No, that kind of ratio definitely has the look of not enough women in the business. Not "let's have a boys club and keep out the girls". And let's face it, there are some women, but very few compared to the amount of men. When you fill positions, you hire the best people for the job, drawing from the pool that is available to you. If more women are available, you should have a higher ratio of women. If less women are available, then you are going to have a lower ratio of women.

I can tell you there are plenty of women available at the start of the pipeline, maybe not at 50-50 ratio but far, far better than 25-1. But, yes, the whole industry is still structured as a boys' club.

They have zero women in creative positions @erica-grace.

Yes, the two female roles of "finance manager" and "marketing assistant" may both have creative elements to their jobs... but that's clutching at straws a bit isn't it?

I should say that I've been in the industry long enough to know that there are many brilliant women out there in sound-design, engineering, composing positions - I've interviewed them, put them forward for jobs and worked alongside them. (although I'm in the uk, not Germany) Yes, it's an industry where men are hugely over represented... but not to that extent!

I can understand a small company having a skewed workforce - but when you get to a medium sized enterprise you should expect a bit more scrutiny. I was pretty surprised... have you looked at the page yourself? https://dynamedion.com/team/

I absolutely do not doubt that all of the faces on that page belong to well meaning, sincere and kind people, and that they provide a top-notch service (I have some of their products and rate them highly) but I don't accept the suggestion that there was never a suitable female candidate available for even a single one of the 36 tech/creative audio roles listed there, discounting all the non-audio positions.

I do see the irony in me (a man) having this dialogue with you (a woman) - about what I believe might be in the best interests of women, and for that I apologise... it seems a bit crazy.

I also know that some of those people will frequent vi-control... and I don't wish to offend them, but sometimes it takes someone from the outside to point out what's staring you in the face.

best,
Chris
