What flute is this ?

Does anyone have ventus pan flute and how do you like it? I've been checking it, and missed the deal last year.
Yes, bought the Ventus bundle and I like the pan flute. Just ran through playing the song above. With the vibrato and mod wheel going (I use pedals) you can get a close performance, but would need to add some pitch bending and ornaments to get it closer. The tone is almost spot on with no eq though.

Clearly the above song was a real player, there are some transitions that cannot be easily duplicated with samples. But Ventus would do a decent mockup of it.

I have to say, when I first heard Con's vid, I too thought it was a pan flute. But I think Joe has it - it sounds more like the Quena, tho a better recording than in Joe's post.

BTW - where is that reverb coming from? You can actually hear it cut out at 1:04

I think the style of music is Andean (such as Peruvian flute music). I think this is the same flute:

Definitely a Quena. You can hear a similar style in James Horner's score to "The 33" with Tony Hinnigan once again lending his talents as a soloist (is there any flute that guy can't play?)

This is definitely not a pan flute. You can hear that in the phrasing. This is simply not possible with a pan flute, because the notes are laid out next to each other. In the performance above there is a lot of portamento. Plus, the sound of a pan flute is waaaaay more airy..

It sounds like a flute from the Andes. My vote goes as well for the Quena.
EDIT: Spitfire Andy Findon Kitbag 2 has a Quena.

Apparently Spitfire does https://www.spitfireaudio.com/shop/a-z/andy-findon-kit-bag-2/ but in the walkthrough it sounds like it's far-miced which I don't like.
