Frozen Plain's Arctic Strings $14

Yeah, got Arctic Strings since a while now and they’re really something else. Frozen Plain has a knack for slightly different but highly creative sounds.
 
Lovin' Colourform! Best of its kind in the "bowed this or that" category. Accidentally left a choir enabled with it, sounded fabulous. Took careful notes, definitely has a place in so-called serious work.

Overall there's a bit of New Age in these sounds, but leaning strongly toward classic sources. Both worlds are well served.

Unlike so many bargains, the trio deal of Strings/Colourform/Chordophones offers a rich resource well worth the original price.

PS: these are basically synths with a lot of scripting behind them, CPU can go pretty high with a few.

I rarely consider anything a no brainer anymore but this is another own everything by the developer list.

These deals are often not worth it, but in this case, yep, the Frozen Plains stuff looks good at least. I have other stuff that does similar though, so they may well just become collectors items for me, like these kind of libraries often do.
