If this is possible then good (even though I would appreciate the companies to do it for us). I know some libraries have somewhat locked architecture where you cannot do that

With regards to little noises players make, especially audible in the shorts - with the second violins, they are much much less prominent, due to some extra editing techniques we used. We'll be going back over the first violins and cellos to do the same thing, released as free updates, and of course finishing the violas and basses with the same level of de-noising and cleaning

Do it not too much, because it is easy to ruin the sound with such tools ..... .

Owning all the sections (thus far), I think it was tastefully done in the 2nd Violins.

No worries :) We used the same amount of de-noising, but with different "shaping", so the quality will not be affected at all. With Violin I's and Cellos - we will go back to the raw original recordings and apply this - we wont be doing another level of de-noising on top of already de-noised samples, as this would noticeably and negatively affect the quality of the audio.

Thank you for direct response! I own your Drums of the Deep I and II and Master Solo Woodwinds bundle and I really love the sound of those. It's just a question of time when I'll add the strings and with this great intro price, it's gonna be sooner than later I think. It was just really important to me not to buy another library I'll hesitate to use because not overly noticible clicks in the samples.

Good to hear that and thank you for the demo.

Answering a very frequently asked question about second violins:

Why do I need the First AND Second Violins?

This is a very good and valid question, rightly asked by many of you!

The perfect balance and hugely sought after sound of the orchestra has been refined over centuries. In order to capture this sonic beauty with samples, each section must be meticulously captured… multiple players, each with different instruments, slightly different timbre, subtle differences in tuning, vibrato and seated in different positions in the stereo/sonic field.

Combining the USE first and second violins in your palette allows access to this beautiful, lush synergy of instruments… something not possible by layering multiple tracks of first violins, which at the very least, can cause phase problems, but more importantly, withhold your music from its full potential and depth.

With the United Strings of Europe, the second violins are particularly important, as - faithful to how the USE play (and similar to how a lot of score music is recorded) - the second violins actually sit to the right of the conductor, with first violins opposite on the left. It's common for many scores to be recorded this way, and has the benefit of basses sitting in the middle at the back (you want the bass in your track in the middle!)

On top of all this, – from a plainly musical/performance perspective - every single note in the second violins is a different and new performance to the first violins... Every note has slightly different intention, emotion and musicality. Combining and orchestrating with both sections will raise the depth of your music several-fold.

Where are the violas in this seating arrangement? Next to Celli or 1st Violins?

Looking seriously at site, but confusing(for me at least) in terms of Summer Sale items.
USE of interest, but also Woodwinds, Brass, Choral. Calypso just provides price in cart, but no clue whether in Sale or not ?

Prices are on the home page, and each instrument/library also has the price, whether on sale or not right at the top beneath the title
