    Umm. While it is true that chord progressions cannot be copyrighted, the recording of those chord progressions can be. So if you want to use a sample which does not have any melodic content, and is just a bunch of chord progressions, that must be cleared.

    Curious here. Kontakt6 installs and runs on Windows 7 just fine. I heard somewhere that major changes are in the works for Kontakt 7. Not sure if this is true or not, but in any event - what do you think? Will it install and run on Windows 7?

    Hi :) I am on PLAY v5 No matter what instrument I load, when I click FX from the mixer, I can not for the life of me get the EQ to work. Everything else works, BUT the EQ. I have pressed every button, and turned every knob, but nothing. Does it not work, or is it me? Thanks!

    I have not seen this is Forzo, but this does happen in other libraries. I see this in Gravity, Berlin Strings, CineStrings and others. Pretty sure this isn't on the developers, but that it's the fault of Kontakt.

    And what do all of those spaces have in common? They are large, ambient spaces that do not produce a dry sound. There is a reason that orchestras are recorded in large, ambient spaces. And here we are, saying, I prefer dry libraries. :whistling: Good post Noam - thank you for the info :)
