Spitfire Studio Brass Pro - Low volume?

Hello. New to Spitfire Audio products here. I am finding that certain samples like "Studio Brass Pro > Horns > Extended Techniques > Horns 4a > Decorative techniques > Long Flutter Stopped" are loaded at a very low volume. The Kontakt slider is set to -6 but even when bumped up to 12 the volume is very low whether played by the onscreen keyboard or my MIDI keyboard.

Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone found a solution? Thanks for all info.

They reflect (to some extent) what the actual volume would be in a real life context in comparison to other articulations. Irritating sometimes but educational. You'll find this on most orchestral libraries (particularly Orchestral Tools). Just add a gain plug-in or some such if you need them at 'unnatural' levels.

Thanks, VinRice! I suspected that might be the case since all players are recorded "in situ". From the podium point of view I get it but the volume is even very low on the close mics too. Just a library feature I'll need to adapt to. Thanks!

Do you have a 'strong' preference ? Was just checking, and Blue Cat Gain Suite got my attention.
Melda Auto Volume is higher $$ …....

I'm pretty sure every DAW has a simple 'gain' plugin that will suffice for this.

Well that makes sense don't you think? It's a quiet sound!

Can anyone who has the SStB pro confirm that in the default patch for horns 2 solo, there is no long patch? I mean, there is, but no sound. However, it's in the individual articulations patches...but in the main patch with multiple articulations, the longs for horns 2 solo don't play. Thanks for any suggestions.

Confirmed, that's no sound in the main patch long arc except C1 mic. @SpitfireSupport please do consider to fix this (Studio Brass pro) with the next update!
