New Audiofier Guitar library Riffendium

I replied to the unedited version of your post (the one without the not) to make a stupid joke, but the quote already contained your edit. :)

Anyway, all these positive responses only confirm what I already suspected. I need to get this.

Here is a picture of "Michel Simon", so no surprise if you made a bad joke about my post... By the way he was a great comedian and human being...

Looks and sounds like a great concept. Likely to purchase. Any other happy user experiences? :)

Or unhappy?

Thanks, berto. Glad to hear. Anything in particular that you really like (and now can't live without ;))?

Anyone: Can the riffs be made into a shuffle feel, i.e., take a straight time riff and make it a shuffle?

I am just going threw the snapshots/riffs to make a little selection of my own snaps fitting for what I need (mostly with major/minor feels) and was wondering if there is any way to change the snapshots by keyswitch ?

I’ve become decent at using Virtual Guitarist, a similar type of library. But this looks interesting and the intro price looks good. I may have to get this.

No, that's a limitation of Kontakt. A snapshot is a combination of many effects and samples loading, plus some part of the script are re-loaded as well. All at once by keyswitch would be way too heavy for the CPU.

There are many things i like, but what i really like is the available DI version. If you consider a preset from the Amped version like a very distorted one, and instead open it with the DI version, i use Amplitude and make it crunchy or clean and no one will ever know i am using Riffendium, especially when i randomise the loop slices or edit them the way i want... Roby told me they are doing more versions, looking forward to knowing what other styles they are doing.

i don't think you can make them shuffle or swing at the moment. They are pre-recorded loops i think, i might be wrong.

Hi Roby, I've spent only one hour with Riffendium and ... woooooow, it's an incredible instrument, really so deep I think in ten years I'll still discover new things, and the "sound", please tell us more about the people and the "behind the curtains". One question, is there a way to insert a "reverse" in the sequences or in the sound ? If not, it would be my only small regret, maybe an update ? Anyway, for me this lib gets my "Award of the best lib of the year 2018".
Huge congrats to all the people behind this fantastic RIFFENDIUM library.

"I'm not in any way affiliated with Audiofier, and I paid this lib as anyone"

Hi Fiestared,

thank you immensely for your comments and for the Award :)))
The reverse sound is a great idea and it would be not much of a problem to implement it (as we already have used that feature in all our other libs), if it was not for the issue that we already maxed out all the available zones in Kontakt :-(
If we find a way to work around that, we surely will put this request on top of our list for a possible update.

Thanks for the info, berto. I purchased. Now I just need to get it installed and find time to play around with it.

Yes, at the moment there is not swing control.

We would like to invite you to download Riffendium 1.01 update.
It includes our new instruments(broken link removed), which use the same samples pool of Riffendium, but have the ability to reverse the loop slices...
Great news ! If I'm a little bit the "trigger "of this new improved version, you prove that you're listening to your customers, and that is a good news... Thanks to you guys :2thumbs:

Wow what a great library! I just love the experimental sounds and sequences and all the options, now including reverses. Great job Robbie and keep these libraries coming. More experimental sounds please.
